Are you a Freight forwarder looking to take the next step in their career and play an instrumental part in a newly opened site within a successful and highly profitable Freight and Shipping company where you will work an optional hybrid role spearheadingthe growth of the Southampton site forward, giving you the opportunity to build a team around you?

This is a rare and exciting opportunity to be an integral member of a completely new site within a hugely successful Freight / Shipping company. They offer a range of employee benefits such as a quarterly bonus structure, Hybrid Work, Cost of Living Bursaryand Bupa Membership.

This company are a well-established logistics company who work with a range of major blue-chip clients form Automotive to Retail.

The company are looking for someone skilled in Freight forwarding / Logistics organisation or similar to oversee International freight operations and liaise with customers and other departments over export documents and draft bills.

The Role:

- Liaise with customers and other departments during the booking process
- Placing of bookings with respective Shipping Line / Carrier / Agent
- Receive/Check Draft Bill of Lading and ensure customer has receives a copy for approval. Send approved Draft Bill of Lading to Shipping Line/Carrier/ Agent
- Work closely with other company departments such as Transport and Finance

The Person:

- Freight / Logistics experience or similar
- Looking to spearhead an entirely new branch forward
- Looking to progress and build a team around you
