**Position Summary**

We have an exciting opportunity for a Compliance Engineer, to join our team based at our Nestlé Purina site in Wisbech.

**A day in the life of a Compliance Engineer.**

As the Compliance Engineer, you will ultimately be responsible for the compliance to the regulations set forth by government agencies to build capability across the factory engineering teams.

Responsibilities will include:

- Leading the technical stores process and management of new materials, inventory cycle counting, obsolescence, health checks, Slow moving stock, max/mins, ABC criticality, food contact status & FDA certs for phthalate free plastics. Stock reductions for projected material upgrades/changes. FLOC & Equipment BOM updates for all new materials.
- Contract Management using continuous improvement to alternative materials and suppliers to push supplier cost saving.
- Compliance to LOLER, PUWER, Roof Safety Lines, and LEV management and supporting PSSR activities on site with adherence to the regulations.
- Competent trainer for various Permit to work, Work Order Management, Mobile AMM
- Act as a point of contact for Engineering Apprentices, providing support. Acting as NWTC Governor meeting representation and on-site assessment facilitation of modules
- Support Quality Team with contractor activities.
- Other ad-hoc duties as required, for examples maintenance support.

**What will make you successful?**

The person that is successful in this role will be driven to drive improvement across the factory. This opportunity provides development individually and as part of a highly skilled team.

Other experiences and attributes would include:

- Ideally come from an engineering background and either be qualified or with substantial engineering experience.
- Experience with SAP would be desirable - ideally at Superuser level.
- Ability to motivate, influence and coach through having strong interpersonal skills.
- Naturally able to lead, challenge and build capability.
- Ability to communicate across all levels and work on own initiative.
- Strong understanding of continuous improvement and problem-solving methodology such as DMAIC, RCA.
