**Job purpose**: Production of educational materials and dispersals of these through our online platforms and community spaces frequented by women. This material will be highlighted the risks associated with gambling, provide some self-help tips, and detail support available. Amplifying the voice of lived experience through sharing real life stories of women we have successfully supported to navigate their addiction, these will also be incorporated into these campaigns to inspire others and reduce the stigma surrounding seeking help. Produce blogs, vlogs, videos, and social media posts with informative information.
Printed materials, such as brochures and pamphlets, will also be created as a form of awareness raising with a focus on women's unique experiences and perspectives. These materials can be distributed in places where women gather, such as community centres, women's shelters, healthcare facilities, and support group meetings. It is essential to ensure that the content is culturally sensitive and available in multiple languages. Responsibilities: To deliver non-accredited training at a variety of locations or online in accordance with your skills, experience, and expertise.
To support the Strategic lead in monitoring various training activities and evaluating the effectiveness of the programmes. Refer participants to other services within the partnership, and other external agencies as appropriate. To support individuals experiencing challenges due to gambling addiction/related harms To support the design and development of brochures and pamphlets to raise awareness of Gambling Harms To assist in networking and the promotion of the Service with other organisations and agencies as appropriate To prepare materials for the sessions as directed & where appropriate. Contribution to monthly/quarterly internal & external monitoring requirements, quality assurance processes & other reports/requirements as requested.
To attend all relevant meetings as required Encourage service users to participate in service development and actively seek feedback on the service from stakeholders. Maintain confidentiality in accordance with Adferiad policy and procedure, and with any statutory/contractual requirements. Work in a non-judgmental, anti-discriminatory and inclusive way at all times. Carry out all tasks with professionalism and in line with Adferiad policies and procedures.
