We are actively looking to recruit the position of a 3.5t Van Driver within HSS Hire.

**Shift Hours - Monday to Friday 07:00 - 16:30 (1 Hour Break) and alternative Saturday's 08:00 - 13:00 (No break) - Contracted Hours - 45 Hours a week**

**Towing Capability preferred but not essential.**

**Overall, your main duties will be to**:

- You will be expected to keep an accurate record of deliveries and collections using a company provided smart phone where you are required to photo capture all evidence of deliveries/collections/exchanges which in turn are then sent to the customer.
- Whilst being safe and responsible and adhering to the traffic laws and Highway Code at all times, you will be expected to demonstrate exceptional customer service skills in all aspects of the working day whilst also maintaining good product knowledge.
- Provide a great customer service Although we have dedicated customer advisers within HSS, a lot of our customers only ever see our drivers as the face of the company. It’s really important you embrace this in your role, and are always seen to be going above and beyond for them.
- You will carry out multi-drop deliveries and collections to our customers in a professional manner, representing the company at all times, whether you’re on the road, or with a customer. (This will look like between 12-15 jobs per day)
- You will be responsible for conducting daily vehicle checks ensuring that any defects that are identified are then reported to the Transport Manager.
- You will be responsible for the loading and unloading of any equipment on the vehicle and ensure all kit is secured and protected where necessary as well as ensuring all locations and company vehicles are maintained.

You will be provided with full workwear and PPE and will undertake a 7 day induction plan to ensure you have the best possible training to help you along the way, which will cover everything from health and safety to the ins and outs of your new role.
