Gallery Assistant

Gallery Assistant to join the Waterside Gallery, St Mawes.

Located on the waterfront with breathtaking views of the Carrick headlands, St Anthonys lighthouse and out to sea

Applicants will have previous experience in the art world or be studying art, creativity at college, uni or simply have a passion for art and love of people

Responsible and trustworthy person to welcome visitors to the gallery and curate our collection of British art and crafts, jewellery, glass, ceramics.

Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Knowledge and expertise of Wordpress.

Ability to use all forms of social media to promote the gallery to new, existing and potential clients.

Maintain a welcoming, clean and tidy gallery for clientele.

Curation of new art works on a regular basis.

Maintain and update stock records.

Research new and upcoming artists, crafts makers to exhibit at the gallery.
