**Business Development Manager - North**

**£35K-£40K, Depending on experience**

**Hours: 40, 8am-5pm**

Our client is looking for a driven Business Development Manager, covering the North-UK. Proven business development skills in the engineering and maintenance product sector knowledge is desirable.

**Duties**:

- Identify potential new customers
- Research identified companies and make contact if applicable
- Arrange meetings to identify any opportunities for us
- To positively promote the Company and its products and services and ensure a professional image is provided at all times
- To manage and plan your daily diary and report back to the North BMD
- To abide by the company’s confidentiality agreement when carrying out tasks as part of this role

**Essential Skills/Competencies/Experience/Qualifications Required**:

- Excellent written & verbal communication skills, telephone manner and technique as well as good interpersonal skills, with the confidence to approach people at all levels of seniority
- Able to demonstrate strong administrative and organisational skills
- Must be able to demonstrate excellent management skills
- Multi-tasking and prioritisation
- Willingness to learn & be flexible in their working arrangements
- Ability to work as a team player, but with a high degree of self-motivation and initiative
- Some industry knowledge is preferred but not essential
- Full & clean driving license
