**HGV Driver and Chassis Controller**

**Location**: Thetford, Norfolk
**Salary**: £14 per hour
**Hours**: 45 hours per week + overtime
**Annual Salary**: £33,000

**Job Specification**:
**Driving Responsibilities**:

- Transport chassis to and from subcontract paint shops, IVA testing, and within the production site as required.
- Move vehicles to and from the weighbridge and PDI area.

**Additional Responsibilities**:

- Inspect and book new chassis upon delivery, organizing them in production order within the site.
- Conduct regular inspections of chassis during movement to prevent damage and report any issues promptly.
- Ensure proper maintenance of chassis, including turning off battery isolator switches and washing chassis as required.
- Provide driving assistance to the business as needed.

**Skills Required**:

- Clean HGV driving license is essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft software.
- Organized and conscientious.
- Forklift license preferred but not essential.

**Working Hours and Benefits**:

- Full-time role, Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:00 with a 30-minute lunch break.
- Opportunity for overtime as required.
- 20 days holiday increasing to 21 after 2 years of service, and 22 upon completion of a 3rd year.
- Pension scheme: 3% employer contribution and 5% employee contribution.
- Life insurance: 2 times base salary after 2 years of service.

**Location and Travel**:

- Based at our factory in Thetford.
- No planned overnight stays required for this role.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 - 50 per week
