Mowing Operative

Mowing Operative **(Seasonal) 1st March - 30th September.**

Neal Landscapes was founded in 1992 as a landscape maintenance company serving companies in and around Milton Keynes. We are a local family run business which are growing year by year. We are excited to be opening a new position here at Neal Landscapes.

**£13.00 - £14.20 Per hour. **You do not need accreditations but a **driving licence is** **essential. **Depending on experience and any accreditations this wage can be negotiable.

Neal Landscapes are looking for a proactive, positive and motivated individual to join our growing team. Neal Landscapes strive to provide the best commercial maintenance service to our clients in and within a 40-mile radius of Milton Keynes.

Overall responsibility:

- Mowing/ Grass cutting with ride on mower
- Strimming
- Blowing
- Litter picking
- Maintaining Company Tools and veichles

Other tasks when not mowing may consist of...
- Hedge cutting
- Chipping
- Strimming
- Manual weeding
- Herbicidal spraying
- Raking
- Sweeping

Details of employment:

- Monday to Friday, 7.00am - 4.30pm (At Depot)
- Opportunities of overtime (overtime rate is at time and half)

Qualifications and skills - **Required**:

- Full manual driving licence
- A positive and proactive approach to work
- Effective team player
- Flexible and adaptable
- Ability to see the larger task **using initiative** to achieve the end goal
- Ability to undertake work which will be physically demanding
- Able to work on their own effectively and efficiently
- Punctual

Qualifications and skills - **Desirable**
- Towing licence
- PA1, PA6
- Chainsaw licence - CS30, CS31
- Experience of plant knowledge
- Knowledge of health and safety
- Ride on Mower experience
