Position Location: Horsham

Day/Shift (if applicable)**:Late Shift** (Monday-Thurs, 3pm to 1:45am) or **Weekend Shift **(Friday-Sunday, 6am-6pm) available.

**Position Summary**:

**How will you make an impact?**

The position is based in the Commercial Manufacturing & Packaging area and requires the individual to work in accordance with documented procedures / standards in order to complete duties within the allotted timescales and to customer specification. This is a fast-paced position that constantly requires a high volume of productivity and accuracy. The industry sector demands strict quality, product integrity and high levels of accuracy.

**What will you do?**
- Maintain safe and clean work environment by following current good manufacturing practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs); complying with legal regulations.
- Take ownership for delivery of quality at all times.
- Highlight and propose solutions to any H&S risk, near miss or accidents.
- Follow and maintain compliance to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) through training and refresher programme
- Effectively communicate with other departments.
- Assist in the identification and correction of problems to prevent down-time.
- Responsible for equipment and room set up and completion of Regulatory paperwork.
- An understanding of computerized ERP systems such as SAP, or GPM
- Stage and weigh job components, initiate paperwork, reconcile batches, purge and clean rooms and equipment
- Highlight and improve process efficiencies to achieve business objectives and utilizing PPI and Lean tools.
- Undertake any other duties on an ad-hoc basis as required by the Line Manager.

**How will you get here?**

Minimum Requirements / Qualifications:

- PC Literate

Essential Skills / Experience:

- Good numeracy and literacy skills
- Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
- Good standard of English (verbal & written)
- Good attention to detail

Although not essential, the following skills and experience would be preferred:

- Worked within a GMP environment
- Worked within an operational environment
