**(Children’s Therapeutic Community)**

**Salary**: **£21,500 pa**

**Hours**: **Full time position - permanent -8am to 4pm weekdays**

**Location**: **Fontwell, Arundel, West Sussex**

Amicus is a Therapeutic Community for vulnerable and traumatised children. Our Therapeutic Community consists of our residential homes, school and head office. In the role of Site Caretaker you will be looking after our head office and school site (which is on the same location). The environment and maintenance of our head office and school places an important and very valued part in our therapeutic work. We are currently looking for an extraordinary, creative, resilient & committed individual who is skilled and passionate in their work to join our Environment Team as Site Caretaker.

Experience is essential, and qualifications beneficial for this role. Having the right ethos, enthusiasm and understanding are key qualities we are looking for. The role of Site Caretaker is a full-time position for 40 hours a week and involves assisting in providing a safe, containing, and well-maintained environment for the organisation and children. Responding to a variety of caretaking roles at the school and office buildings, including ensuring site safety, maintaining the grounds and buildings, setting up for the school day and assisting Maintenance and Environment Team with site maintenance and preparations during the school holidays, and in response to the needs of the school and the Amicus Community.
