**Stead house Darlington**

**Role Purpose**:
The main purpose of the Stock Controller's job is critical in maintaining the inventory management by means of checking, counting and investigating. Moving stock between warehouses and outside suppliers. This role will report to the Operations Team Leader for Stock Control in Stead House Distribution Centre.

**A typical day in this role includes**:
- Counting stock
- Slot maintenance
- Producing reports using excel
- Working closely within internal and external departments
- Stock control functions
- Picking and working pallets of stock for UAE
- Investigating issues and communicating this back to other company departments

**What you’ll need**:
- PC literate- Flexible approach to performing other duties within the warehouse as requested by your Line Manager- High level of numeracy- Excellent time and attendance record- Good teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work on your own- Always demonstrate and maintain a high level of health and safety awareness around the warehouse, ensuring own safety and the safety of others.
