**Science Teacher - SALFORD**

A thriving secondary school has approached Empowering Learning seeking an ambitious part-time Science Teacher to join them as soon as possible. Due to an ongoing sickness leave, the incoming Science Teacher can expect to join a highly successful, supportive,and creative team of teachers and support staff. The high-quality Science curriculum is thoroughly enjoyed by pupils across Key stages 3 & 4, encouraging creativity, enquiry, and memorable learning.

**Key Role Highlights**:

- Part-time Science Teacher (0.6)
- ASAP until February 2023.
- Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) alongside a relevant degree level qualification.
- Must have a DBS on the update service and two recent professional references.
- Located in Salford, M27 - easily accessible via major motorway links/public transport links.
- Pay in line with MPS/UPS (£28,000 - £43,685).

**Roles and responsibilities**:

- Demonstrate a sound understanding of the national curriculum at Key Stages 3/4.
- Effectively plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and motivating lessons, setting high standards of teaching and learning.
- Confident and effective in your approach, as well as displaying a clear understanding of the diverse needs of all pupils.

Located in Swinton, Salford, Greater Manchester this mixed 11- 16 secondary school has just over 800 pupils on roll, provides state-of-the-art facilities, extensive training and developmental opportunities and access to the latest classroom technology.
