**Grounds Maintenance Worker**

**Overview**

TQ Services Ltd is currently hiring for a Grounds Maintenance Worker to help maintain our client’s lawn and grounds both commercial and domestic. The position requires an individual to work efficiently in a team environment, and an ability to follow instructions and complete tasks to the highest standard. The position is responsible for keeping the grounds safe, clean, and well-maintained. This is a hands-on job requiring the individual to be very technical in their ability to use the company’s equipment including zero turns, walk behind mowers, hedge trimmers, leaf blowers, and other necessary tools. They will also be responsible for making sure the jobs are top quality through regular maintenance of the equipment and ensuring the jobs are top quality through regular cleaning. The person in this position will work closely with the team members that are responsible for customer service and sales.

**Responsibilities**
walk-behind hoses, hedge trimmers, leaf blowers, and other necessary tools
- Maintain equipment used to service clients including but not limited to: walk-behind hoses, hedge trimmers, leaf blowers, and other necessary tools
- Perform maintenance on equipment used to service clients including but not limited to:, walk-behind hoses, hedge trimmers, leaf blowers, and other necessary tools
- Conduct regular maintenance on equipment used to service clients including but not limited to: Roto-Rooter vacuum systems, walk-behind hoses, hedge trimmers, leaf blowers, and other necessary tools
- Follows all safety rules and regulations in the job site environment as well as following company policies and procedures

**Qualifications**

PA1 / PA2 / PA6

Grounds Maintenance experience 1 year
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Valid driver’s license with no more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years; if more than 3 then please provide justification for each moving violation
- Ability to read & write using English language skills
- Knowledge of how equipment works and how to maintain it
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Willingness to assist customers in a professional manner
- Clean driving record without violations or motor vehicle record that shows no moving violations in the last 3 years; if any please provide justification for each moving violation

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £11.00-£12.00 per hour

- Tuxford, Nottinghamshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
