**About the role**:
Reporting to the Trading Manager - UK, the Racing & Sports Trader is responsible for managing the MTS Risk product, client profiling and providing data insights to help shape the Trading strategy. You will use trading data to provide analytics and insights to make informed, data-driven recommendations and decisions around price competitiveness and pricing strategies.

This position is based in our Central London office, offering a hybrid work arrangement that allows you to work from home a few days a week. As a requirement of the role, you will need to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends in accordance with sports and racing events.

**What you will be doing**:

- Ensuring the Risk Management services provided to our MTS clients is the best in-class service;
- Managing risk and liabilities for all MTS clients;
- Analysing sports and racing markets, betting patterns and MTS product performance to identify any areas of vulnerability and improvement;
- Ongoing analysis of automated trading tools to identify operational efficiencies, improve price competitiveness and grow revenue;
- Provide insights and reporting to key stakeholders, to a high-quality standard, within a timely manner;
- Assist with development of systems/tools to automate processes and reduce manual workload;
- Effectively communicate company and management messages throughout the business and;
- Provide strategic suggestions and insights to relevant stakeholders.

**What you will bring to the role**:

- Proven professional experience in a trading role;
- Previous racing experience is preferred;
- Ability to draw sound conclusions from data insights;
- High attention to detail, with strong numerical and analytical skills;
- Driven to provide excellent products and services;
- Strong time management skills with the ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure;
- Ability to work flexible hours (evenings and weekends) and;
- Strong IT and computer skills with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
