An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Children's Commissioning Team, for a Commissioning Assistant to support effective contracting for the department, and to contribute to contract monitoring and service review.

Your main duties will involve co-ordinating the referral process for external placements for children and young people, including providing guidance to Social Workers and SEN Officers, liaising with providers on the suitability of placements and attending associated multi-agency panels.

You will also assist in the commissioning process for a range of services for children and young people, including the preparation of outcome focused service specifications, contract documentation and service agreements, data collection and monitoring, and quality review.
