Our client, A specialist in Traditional Sash Windows who have been manufacturing, supplying and installing Traditional Sash and Casement windows since 1999 are looking for a keen to learn, Technical drawing consultant to join their team.

For this role, you will be reporting to the Operations Director, working alongside our other drawing consultant on timber windows and door projects undertaking technical design drawings of joinery in accordance with the customer’s designs and the agreed specification. You will also be required to quality/pre check other consultants drawings before sending to production.

**On a daily basis you will be undertaking the following tasks**
- Deliver designs which meets criteria for the customer.
- Ensure accuracy of design, production, and detail drawings.
- Ensure design meets agreed standards for compliance, quality
- Ensure designs are value engineered to support internal and external customers with design related queries

**Essential technical experience**
- A background in timber windows, joinery or similar is needed.
- A good working knowledge of TurboCAD
- Demonstrate knowledge of the construction industry, preferably timber
