Weekend Tea Round and Lunch Assistant for Worthing

Tenby House Care Home is looking to recruit a a friendly and caring tea round and lunch time assistant for their Dementia home in Worthing. The shift times are 8 am to 4pm every Saturday and Sunday.

You would be required to undertake:
Morning tea round - preparing the tea trolley, giving the residents the drink and snack of their choice, enjoying a lovely chat and providing social support, collecting dirty crockery, washing up and documenting food and fluids onto our electronic system to show what each resident has had to drink/eat.

Lunch Service - preparing the dining room ready for the residents and giving the residents their meal of choice as prepared by the kitchen, assisting with dining room supervision. After lunch, clear the dining room, wash up the dirty plates and cups, wipe tables down, and documenting food and fluids onto our electronic system to show what each resident ate/drank.

Afternoon Tea round
- preparing the tea trolley, giving the residents the drink and snack of their choice, enjoying a lovely chat and providing social support, collecting dirty crockery and documenting food and fluids onto our electronic system to show what each resident has had to drink/eat. Asking the residents what they would like for breakfast, lunch and supper for the following day and completing the resident meal choices form.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £10.69 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week
