**Hours** - Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week - 8:00am - 4:15pm + Early finish on a Friday at 3:30pm

**Yard Coordinator**

Due to an internal promotion, an excellent opportunity has arisen for a motivated Yard Coordinator to join our market leading client at their Rotherham site

This key role will involve monitoring of assets in and out of the business as well as meticulous control of Long-Term Rental customer returns and other containers.

The Yard Coordinator will be responsible for facilitating communication between Production, Quality Control and Asset Management/Logistics areas to ensure accuracy of data, accurate customer order scanning and smooth running of the returns process on the ground.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Receive, acknowledge and scan all customer returns in real time and ensure Customer Service teams receive data quickly and accurately
- Take ownership for sorting and processing of miscellaneous container returns and reconcile serial number database queries
- Receipt and scanning of new stock
- Allocation of stock for Production to facilitate stock rotation
- Stock Reposition Processing
- Own the quarterly & year End Stock Audit process for all sites and host external auditors for year end stocktaking
- Spot welding of tags on assets
- Support cross department logistics movements
- Operating Fork Lift Truck
- Raising Commercial Invoice documentation for exports where required
- Influence all areas of business to adopt safe best practices i.e. Stock rotation, auditing, stacking
- Undertake monthly H&S site inspections and work with HSE Manager to carry out H&S Audits
- Processing of scrap. Data Validation and Physical removal from site
- Movement of containers in and out of the quarantine area
- Lead focus groups to identify unresolved matters within yard. Assign owners and follow up actions
- Ensure that all Governance and Compliance requirements are adhered to and all reporting and reviewing activities required by the Regulatory Bodies are carried out to the standards required.
