**About The Role**:
**Threat Management Specialist**

**Reports to**: Senior Manager EMEA Region / Senior Investigator / Security Contract Manager / Account Manager

**Department**:Corporate Security

**Location**:London - Soho (100% on-site)

**Hours**:45 hours week (meal break included)

**Schedule**:Daily 0800-1700 (Tuesday to Saturday)

**Pay rate**:Based on skills and experience (£55-58K)

**Main Role Purpose**:
These roles form part of client Global Corporate Security team.

**Key Tasks & Responsibilities**:

- Work in compliance with Client policies, Digital Services Act and other legislative parameters at all times;
- Receive and administer threat reports in a timely manner compliant within set timeframes;
- Assess threats, using investigative tools and corroborative sources to identify their credibility effectively;
- Act responsibly to support the safeguarding of people, assets and business operations;
- Utilise tools or interpreter services to decipher threat messaging to comprehend intention accurately;
- Prioritise cases based on assessed level of threat and urgency; redirecting cases internally where thresholds are not evidenced;
- Ensure GDPR requirements are adhered to for each relevant country involved, receiving and managing the case throughout;
- Promptly report credible cases to law enforcement agencies using an evidence-based rationale via automated processes or direct means appropriately;
- Working closely with Law enforcement partners and other statutory bodies to support the management of threats through development of intelligence and investigations.
- Lead the exchange of actionable intelligence with local law enforcement partners and counterparts to mitigate threats.
- Conduct training sessions with internal partners
- Escalate identified higher threat situations to Corporate Security specialist managers;
- Respond to urgent requests for further disclosure by law enforcement agencies in accordance with client practices; referring for legal advice where appropriate;
- Log activity and decisions accurately for transparency / scrutiny;
- Ensure professional handover of cases to other team members, detailing actions;
- Support continual improvement through positive communications and debriefs;
- Provide presentations to international partners on role and assistance available.
- Build effective working relationships with relevant authorities;
- Produce performance management reports reflecting demand, quality, trends, categorisation time management; presenting and enhancing these data products;
- Assist with other investigations, threat related work and event security planning;
- Other work or projects conducive with role and Corporate Security requirements

**Role Requirements**:
**Qualification**:

- **Professionalizing Investigation Program Level 1 / 2 or equivalent - Desirable**

**Experience**:

- Previous law enforcement or other evidenced operational roles with direct responsibilities for assessing, responding & managing threats essential;
- Demonstratable investigational and systems analysis/research experience to support decision making essential;
- Understanding of and working knowledge with GDPR / ECHR / Digital Services Acts / Data Privacy / Disclosure legislation required. **Requirements**
- Work within strict networks of confidentiality and handle information sensitively/ ethically;
- Competent and professional judgement, backed up with transparent rationale;
- Proven ability of working on own initiative and proactive problem-solving;
- Flexibility with working hours and agility to respond to developing role; **Skill Set**:

- Capability to personally manage emotional or disturbing transmissions;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to promote excellent customer services
- Effectively prioritises tasks and ability to manage multiple workstreams
- Be able to work effectively as a part of team in person and virtually;
- Proficiency in using Microsoft packages and other IT platforms essential ; overall excellent IT literacy.
