Logistics Specialist

All aspects of design, construction and operation of gas measurement and pressure regulation are project managed to reduce the end user engineering and administration costs.
Based in Merseyside, UK and serving customers throughout the world, the NGS (UK) Ltd supplies a broad range of products including: Rotary Displacement Meters, Electronic Measurement products, Pressure Regulation equipment, Dresser Piping Products and Control equipment and complete, bespoke metering and regulation skids.
Principle duties will include but not limited to:
**Role Overview**
You will be responsible for accurately and quickly picking of Sales and Works Orders, the quality of product wrapping pallets and packing. To receive goods inwards and accurately before sorting and storing, checking goods against purchase order or invoice, and entering data on Sage 1000. Also responsible for cleaning and maintaining the working area including the removal of waste. To undertake stock audits and perform any other tasks needed in the maintenance and operation of the Stores warehouse.
**Role Overview**
- Accurately and efficiently pick Works and Sales Orders to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Ensures efficiency, accuracy, and speed of Goods Inwards and Outwards movements.
- Ensures all stock movements comply with Customs requirements.
- Ensures all parts are packed safely for delivery.
- Works safely, effectively, and accurately.
- Maintains accurate stock records and levels.
- Builds productive and effective working relationships with Company staff.
- Completes paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
- Undertakes stock audits across the business.
- Ensures Sage system is accurate and up to date.
- Maintains good housekeeping standards.
- Complies with the Company's Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental Policies at all times.
**Skills and Experience**
**Essential**
- Reach / C/B forklift license (training can / will be provided).
- Proven experience in a similar role.
- Communication, customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think independently and problem solve.
- Numerate and computer literate in standard IT packages.
- Full, clean driving licence.
**Desirable**
- First aid certificate.
