Auchterarder Golf Club is a ‘Scotland’s Top 100’ course located in central Perthshire.

**Assistant Greenkeeper**

To report to the Head Greenkeeper, as part of a small team to prepare the golf course for a large membership and busy visitor schedule.

Essential qualifications and Skills:

- SVQ Level 2 Greenkeeping/Sportsturf maintenance or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years' experience working in a golf course environment
- Sound knowledge and safe use of golf course machinery and equipment
- Be positive, with good time keeping, a hard-working attitude and attention to detail
- Possess a willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Be able to work as a team as well as on their own
- Possess good communication skills
- PA1, PA2 & PA6 Spraying certificates desirable
- Chainsaw certificate desirable

Operation and maintenance of a modern Toro fleet and understanding of a Rainbird Irrigation System or similar advantageous but not essential.

Working hours: full time, permanent, annualised to 40 hours per week but varying throughout the year including weekend work on a rotational basis.

Competitive salary negotiable depending on experience.

Full uniform and PPE provided as well as BIGGA membership and further training opportunities.

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
