Lettings Negotiator

As we continue to grow, an exciting opportunity has a risen for a Lettings Negotiator/Administrator to join our increasingly busy team

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will be the supportive backbone to our busy lettings team, providing exemplary levels of customer service for our clients and customers. You will assist with all aspects of the lettings process, obtaining propertyvaluations and managing property inspections, reporting maintenance issues of properties and managing databases, along with general administration.

Other duties will include, but are not limited to:
**- Property inspections**

**- Liaising with and updating landlords regularly**

**- Property valuations prior to marketing**

**- Offer negotiation**

**- Cross-selling departments**

**- KPI reporting**

**- Ensuring the company’s adherence to all relevant legislation**

**- Property auditing and compliance, including gas safety, portable appliance testing and smoke detectors**

**- Overseeing all aspects of a new tenancy, including document preparation, referencing, check in/out, and receipt of all necessary funds**

**- Assistance with any maintenance issues that arise**

Confidence will be key, as you will need to be effective in managing the needs and expectations of our clients, as well as negotiating offers and rent increases with agents and landlords.

To be considered for the role, you must have previous experience within the property industry, with a full understanding of the lettings process. This includes legal procedures as well as our company terms and conditions of business. Flexibility in yourrole will be important, as some overnight stays may be required for properties that are further afield. A full, clean driving licence is essential.
