**£30-40K Depending on Experience**

Our client based in Ely is enjoying an exciting period of growth, due to an increase of orders, additional members of staff are required to fulfil the demand. A new role has become available for an experienced Manual Machinist/Tool Maker to craft parts requiredfor machinery, modify existing equipment, and carry out repairs. You will be working within supportive environment where you will be a valued member of staff

**Duties**:

- Machining of parts including milling and turning
- Building and modifying new or existing machinery
- Ordering new tools and materials and regular stock takes of these
- Organising time and supporting Junior members of staff

**Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Experience**:

- Fully skilled in Milling and Turning which will include ability to turn between tight tolerances
- Experienced and proficient in rotary table usage
- Assembly of precision tooling, linear and rotary products
- Machining of various materials including copper, stainless steel and aluminium
- Working to best engineering practice

**Desirable Knowledge/Skills**:

- Surface Grinding, Tig Welding and brazing
