Pitch are pleased to be a retained partner with Vax, a well known British heritage brand based just North of Worcester, who are looking for a Head of Marketing Communications to join their team for a 12 month maternity cover. The brand are well known withinthe retail space and now operate across 50 global markets.

With such a strong brand presence, the business put marketing at the forefront of their business, and therefore need an experienced Head of Marketing to step in to continue to define the Marketing and Communications strategy. This role will report into theUK Commercial Director and be responsible for a small team. You will look after large scale projects that will involve creative, product and third-party agency teams. Simply put, there will be a lot to sink your teeth into

The culture at Vax is fast paced, and with no two days the same, it is a varied and exciting role, you can expect to get involved in the following activities on a weekly basis:

- Leading the strategy planning and execution of brand and product campaigns across core ATL channels.
- Managing and reviewing the performance of campaigns across TV, Press and PR.
- Supporting the marketing and communications team to optimise campaign activity and reporting output.
- Maintaining and managing agency and key stakeholder relationships.
- Management of key marketing campaign reporting, providing the team with detailed insights into overall campaign strategy and ROI performance, and new ideas to take forward into future planning.
- Developing and optimising PR content alongside product roadmaps and key marketing activity.
- Working closely with product management and creative teams to ensure a consistent strategy to optimise, support and manage product launches.

Please keep in mind that this is a 12-month FTC, ideally starting in early September. This role offers hybrid working options, however on Mondays and Tuesdays the entire business is committed to being face to face, onsite in Droitwich.

To be considered for this role you will have proven experience in a Senior level Marketing and Communications role. You will be confident in managing target budgets and will have managed large scale ATL campaigns.
