Assembly Operatives required to work for furniture manufacturer based in Romsey Hampshire. Role involves mechanical assembly of metal parts and components, use of various tools and work shop equipment.
**Shift Pattern**: Monday to Friday 08:00 till 16:30 + OT
**Location**: Romsey, SO51
**Pay rate**: £10.50 to £12.50

**MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
**General Workshop Duties**
- To cut and drill materials using a variety of workshop tools and equipment
- To clean, wrap and pack goods ready for dispatch.
- Packing and wrapping goods prior to dispatch
- Manufacture technical furniture to specified drawings, working to tight deadlines but keeping with the quality standards.
- To work tidily and safely within the workshop environment.
- To put forward suggestion for improvement.

**CORE COMPETENCIES AND KEY SKILLS**
- Experience in a manufacturing/assembly background is preferable.
- Previous experience of working with Aluminium or Steel is advantageous
- Able to communicate with the Production Team, Production Manager and Design Office.
- Strong planner and excellent organisational skills.
- Great attention to detail.
**Installation Duties**
- Liaise with the projects team to ensure the installations are completed to the customers' requirements.
- Install within our onsite installation procedure.This could be overseas
- Load the Van for installation ensuring all goods required to complete the works are packed in a way to avoid damage.
- Ensure TSS Van guidance notes are followed.
- Comply with Customers H&S guidelines.
- Inspect/sign off installation to customers satisfaction
- Complete site feedback as per onsite installation procedure
