Bricklayer/general Builder

Local family run building firm is looking for a full time Bricklayer/General Builder to join their busy and growing team. Our projects are primarily domestic and tend to be within the local area but can be further afield. You can expect to be involved with a variety of projects, working on both new and older properties including listed buildings and one-off developments.

**Qualifications & Experience**

A Bricklaying Qualification

A minimum of 5 years’ experience in bricklaying

Knowledge of groundworks and drainage, including setting out

Knowledge of reading and understanding plans

Full UK driver’s Licence

A keen eye for detail and able to work to a high standard

Able to communicate with customers and subcontractors

Able to work as part of a team or independently

Willing to carry out other duties as reasonably instructed by the Site Manager

A good understanding of site Health and Safety

Willing to work with an apprentice

Good time management
