An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a **Domiciliary Care Co-ordinator** to join our home care team in Devon, on a full-time basis.

Reddish homecare ltd is a provider of high-quality home care services. We are looking for a kind, compassionate, and highly motivated person to join our Devon branch and support our staff caring for the elderly and vulnerable, in their own homes.

Previous experience as a **Domiciliary Care Co-ordinator** is essential. Experience of Rota Management and Electronic Call Monitoring Systems is essential, as you will be required to undertake Co-ordinating.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities of a Care Coordinator include**:

- To ensure appropriate care is provided to our clients according to all relevant policies, procedures and regulations.
- To be able to undertake initial care needs assessments, reviews, and writing of all care documents, including care plans and risk assessments.
- To be able to reassess existing client and review current care plans.
- To be reliable and willing to work for the best interests of the people we care for
- To be able to communicate effectively and professionally.
- Assisting the Registered Manager, including general office administration tasks
- Manage on-call duties on a rotating basis
- Be accountable for the allocations of carers rosters to ensure all our clients' needs are met
- Be the first point of contact for both new and existing Service Users, families, Care Workers and other relevant professionals.
- Assisting with recruiting new care workers to the team
- Supporting the effective handling of safeguarding, incidents, and complaints as required.
- Ensure the service is working within the standards expected by the CQC.
- Carry out timely spot checks, supervisions and appraisals of care staff.

**Requirements to work with Reddish Homecare as a Carer**:

- You must have the right to work within the UK
- Experience within the Domiciliary Care/ Supported Living sector
- Be willing to work towards obtaining a Level 3 QCF in Health & Social Care
- Friendly, confident and helpful telephone manner.
- Previous experience as a Care Coordinator, preferably within the Domiciliary Care sector
- Experience of staff/team management
