Pro-Pak Foods is a major supplier of delicious ready meals to many of the UK’s leading supermarkets and convenience stores. Our company, based in Malton, North Yorkshire, has built an excellent reputation over the last 25 years. Today, our chefs, working in partnership with our customers, have created a menu of more than 200 quality meals.
Our rapidly growing reputation for producing quality convenience foods means we are now searching for additional team members for our **Quality Assurance (QA)** team.
- Conduct quality checks from the point of receiving raw materials and packaging to the site through to despatch to ensure required standards are met
- Address any non-conformances to ensure prompt rectification and corrective action
- Complete routine quality checks and required documentation accurately and with attention to detail every time
- Participate in the quality monitoring programme ensuring agreed quality standards are met consistently
- Work proactively with the operations team to ensure ongoing compliance of standards
- Provide practical support and drives to promote a quality assurance culture
- Assist in the delivery of site standards for visits and audits either through direct input or indirect support
- Communicate with QA team leaders on technical issues to achieve resolution
- Be accountable for ensuring the good quality and accurate output of your own workload, leading by example and enforcing and maintaining the required standards on site
- Be confident working unsupervised
**Skills and previous experience required**:
- Level 2 in Food Safety will be required in the first six months
- Knowledge of HACCP
- Excellent attention to detail
- Accurate completion of paperwork
- Working in a food manufacturing
- Good communication skills, assertive, analytical skills
- Understands the business and customer expectations

- £11.45 / hour overtime at 1.5 above core hours
