We are recruiting a flexible, engaging Cover Supervisor to join our friendly team who enjoy an excellent reputation both within and beyond the school.
You will play an invaluable role in supervising lessons where students complete work set by a qualified teacher; maintaining the good behaviour of students to both support their own learning and the learning environment for the class as a whole. You will gain invaluable experience and support under the supervision of a qualified teacher.
St. Crispin’s School is a happy and oversubscribed 11-18 mixed comprehensive school.

St. Crispin’s is an oversubscribed 11-18 mixed comprehensive that in March 2017 was described by OFSTED as “good” with “outstanding” features.

Turnover of staff is very low but as the school continues to grow, new appointments have been made. We have a good balance between those new to teaching and those with more experience.

Academic performance is strong but there is work to do in ensuring good progress for all students. To this end, we are part of the PIXL group (Partners in Excellence) which allows leaders at all levels to identify new ways of supporting all students to achieve their full potential.
We collaborate closely with other local secondary schools and we have a unique strategic partnership with the world-renowned independent school - Wellington College. This provides our staff with the opportunity to share best practice.
**Great teaching facilities, on-site parking and delicious food**
In addition to our state of the art science block and Multi Use Games Area (MUGA), we also have a new £3m sixth form building that has been designed with great care to meet the needs of the 21st century teacher and student. In 2023, to support the growth of the school, we will see an extension to our sixth form and the redevelopment of our dining hall.
St Crispin’s staff enjoy free on-site parking and delicious food in our restaurant, which uses quality ingredients, freshly cooked on-site daily by our in-house chefs, who are busy baking bread from 5am.
We work hard but also find time to enjoy ourselves through regular events organised by our staff social committee - be it after-work drinks in the local pub just across the road, Friday football or curry nights.
