We are seeking a caring, dynamic and motivated professional to come and work with our fantastic private clinic team at St Michael's Clinic in Shrewsbury. The position involves providing support and care to all our service users and requires someone that can work proactively and efficiently as part of a small team as well as independently. This role requires flexibility in approach as it covers a diverse spectrum of duties ranging from chaperoning in clinics and providing personalised care autonomously as a Healthcare Assistant. Experience as a Healthcare Assistant is essential due to the nature of the clinic but not specific to a dermatology setting - further training and support can be provided as necessary to meet the requirements of the clinic; with the opportunity to develop further skills and abilities over a period time. Reporting to the Private Practice Manager and Lead Nurse you would be assisting Dermatologists, Doctors and Nurses with a range of specialised procedures to provide the best patient care.

Academic/Vocational Qualifications
- Must have evidence of completion of the Care Certificate

Experience
- Previous Healthcare Assistant experience in a health care setting
- Familiarity with some medical terminology

Skills and Qualities
- Passion for patient care and delivering an effective service
- Organisational and time management skills - reliable attendance and timekeeping
- Demonstrates a professional, confident and calm approach
- Works to well established routines/procedures
- Able to develop and maintain positive and professional working relationships with staff and patients
- Excellent oral, written communication and administrative skills
