**Senior Electrical Engineer - Salford**

Our client an international multidisciplinary consultancy is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their team.

This exciting role will enable you to become an experienced electrical engineer with understanding of technical, commercial and construction experience within the electrical service industry.

**Duties**:

- Undertaking electrical design services on a local and national basis.
- Preparing designs/briefs, specifications, feasibility studies, site inspection, commissioning and maintenance testing/certification associated with a varied range of M&E Services and Infrastructure electrical services.
- Project management covering; MV/LV main distribution, Plant and control including VSD's.
- Lighting (general and emergency).
- Lightning protection, Life critical alarm, security and access systems.
- SCADA plant interfaces, control and building management systems.

**Requirements**:

- Academic background in electrical engineering and experience working with a UK based firm.
- Broad experience in professional and project work ideally with water service background.
- Ability to undertake LV electrical surveys and design calculations.
- Use of Amtech and industrial standard lighting design software.
- Demonstratable experience of the education and training in electrical engineering.
- Understanding of requirements within the water industry standards and specifications.
