This is an exciting opportunity to join the Finance Team at the Ocean Housing Group and provide administrative and clerical support to the Finance Team ensuring the smooth running of the department as a whole and effective delivery of financial and accounting services within the organisation.

Responsibilities will include:

- To support the purchase ledgers of Ocean Housing Group companies: _including: scanning and registering invoices on the system, reconciliation of supplier statements to the purchase ledger, support the preparation of weekly payment runs and dealing with supplier queries_
- Processing invoices in accordance with Financial Regulations and procedures following appropriate certification
- To match purchase orders with delivery notes
- To register invoices accurately and quickly
- To deal with all inaccurate purchase invoices, ensuring that corrective action is taken in a timely manner
- To identify missing invoices and get copies from suppliers where necessary
- To handle queries from internal customers
- Provide support to other members of the finance team

You will be educated to GCSE Grade A-C or equivalent level 2 qualification in English & Maths. It is desirable but not essential that you are AAT part-qualified or equivalent.

You will have good administrative, organisational and numeracy skills along with good attention to detail maintaining high quality of output even when handling large volumes of processing. You will be able to manages and prioritise time and tasks effectively and accept and tackle challenges with enthusiasm.
