As a Junior Estimator, you will form a key part of the Technical Services division and the estimating team for the pricing of additional works originating from reactive and/or planned maintenance works as well as supporting estimating activity as directed by the Account/Contract teams.

The role will also see you responsible for the creation, maintenance, analysis, and timely delivery of quotations to all of our accounts and customers, including pro-active engagement with account teams on programmes of work and to support operations and set strategies with the objective of minimising risks, maximising opportunities and avoiding disputes.

**Key Responsibilities**_**_
- Perform a high-volume Estimating function on a day-to-day basis
- Quotation function from collation to approval, including resolution of any queries, in-conjunction with the Quotations Team and Client
- Delivering the financial submission of individual quotes
- Contribute to risk assessments and ensuring all risks are included within the tender
- Leading or supporting Value Enhancement exercises on an activity/project basis
- Assuring accuracy, competitiveness and compliance of tenders & quotes
- Ensuring all risks are recorded and accounted for within the tender/quote
- Contributing to the submission document and Contract Documentation
- Tracking & reporting on quotes issued & managing them through to conversion of additional works
- Build client relationships within areas of responsibility

**Professional and personal competencies/qualifications**_**_
- To have more than 1-years estimating type experience.
- Suitable for an HNC/HND Qualified persons in Surveying or similar Construction related courses.
- Detail oriented and deadline driven
- Good estimating experience
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
- An understanding of accounting and financial concepts
- Strong conceptual and analytical skills
- Must be flexible, adaptable and proactive
- Ability to manage priorities and projects
- Ability to manage client expectations and deliver customer-focused solutions
