Systemic Family Therapist

**Main duties of the job**:
The post-holder will undertake assessments using a range of therapeutic skills and knowledge involving observation, systemic techniques and interventions including family work, parent support and group work.
You will monitor and evaluate treatment offered to service users while adhering to professional and Trust guidelines and Service policies and procedures related to evidence based practice, audit, policy and service development.

- Post-graduate training in Systemic and Family Psychotherapy as accredited by the Association of Family Therapy (AFT).
- UKCP registration
**Experience**:
**Essential criteria**:
- Experience of working with a wide variety of children, adolescents and their parents across a whole age range of presenting problems that reflect the full range of clinical severity.
- Skills in the use of complex methods of systemic assessment, intervention and management.
**Desirable criteria**:
- Experience in audit and/or research methods.
- Experienced in FT-AN and other evidence-based FT for ED
- Experience of working with Child and Adolescent Eating Disorder Services
- Experienced in oral presentations, working with people in groups.
- Post-qualification supervised systemic clinical experience
**Skills**:
**Essential criteria**:
- Evidence of continuing professional development
- Ability to teach and train others, using a variety of multi -media materials suitable for presentations within public, professional and academic settings.
**Desirable criteria**:
- Skills in providing consultation to other professional and non -professional groups
