Develop new jewellery designs and products, and modify existing designs.
- Construct preliminary jewel models using wax, plaster or clay. Create sample castings in moulds.
- Solder pieces together and insert stones
- Repair jewellery by replacing broken clasps, altering ring sizes, or resetting stones
- Smooth joints and rough spots and polish smoothed areas
- Clean and polish jewellery using polishing wheels and chemical baths
- Stone setting on various jewellery.
**Salary**: £27,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
