Elevation Accountancy & Finance are proud to be working in partnership with an established company, located in Wakefield, who are looking to expand their finance function with the addition of a capable and hardworking Finance Assistant on a 3 month Fixed-Term contract with the view to turning permanent.

If successful, you will be working as part of a small, supportive finance team, where you will be given exposure to all areas of a fast-paced finance role, including responsibility for the Purchase & Sales Ledger processes and some exposure to payroll. This is a really exciting and varied position where you will be challenged but also supported.

This opportunity is great for an experience finance assistant to join a growing company.

The duties of the role will include:

- Raise sales invoices/credits and liaise with all customer queries
- Ensure customers payment received and chase any overdue debts
- Processing all purchase invoices accurately and in timely manner and liaise with all

supplier queries and raise payment request
- Ensuring suppliers are pay in term
- Maintaining spreadsheets and weekly report updates
- Raising sales quote on system
- Answering phone calls
- Process delivery notes for drivers who come for order collections
- Assisting with ad hoc projects/ reporting
- Form an integral part of the Finance & Administration function to ensure the department

runs effectively and efficiently at all times
- All other ad-hoc duties as and when required by management

Experience required:

- Experience of processing Purchase Invoices
- Experience of managing employee expenses
- Strong communication skills
- High levels of accuracy
- Ability to work confidentially
- Experience working with finance systems
