**Job purpose**

As FM Support Team Supervisor you will coordinate and guide our team of 4 Service Desk Coordinators, ensuring exceptional service delivery and operational efficiency.

The role involves using data and dashboards to evaluate team performance, supporting and developing the FM (Facilities Management) system and processes, and identifying solutions to recurring issues. You will focus on monitoring and improving both operational and commercial performance and ensuring the team is equipped with the necessary skills and support..

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Lead the helpdesk team and take a strategic approach to service delivery
- Work hand in hand with line utilising data and dashboards available to evaluate team performance and efficiencies and action plans agreed to take the helpdesk function forward
- Step in and act as a mentor for the helpdesk team members, covering holidays and sickness as required
- Add a line re working with other departments, helping and support process improvements across the business and add travel on a monthly basis to other regions. (and as required, travel to other regions like Leeds, Liverpool, Birmingham etc)
- Take the initiative on developing our FM system and processes to ensure they deliver exceptional FM service for both internal colleagues and end customers
- Be hands-on and logically minded in effectively supporting the team dealing with FM tasks, requests, problems and changes
- Identify recurring themes for underlying issues and identify solutions to mitigate these, including training and working with internal teams
- Having a strong focus on monitoring and improving operational and commercial performance
- Help develop the team ensuring they have the right skills and support and any training requirements to team members to continually drive our business forward
- Be responsible for financial management processing carried out by the team which has a high influence on business income and expenditure management
- Embrace change Developing, implementing and supporting improvement projects to enhance the helpdesk function and customer satisfaction
- Review and interpret data available developing reports to discuss proposed actions and efficiencies with line
- Report on a variety of data sets, using analytical skills to identify key trends and areas for improvement, presenting this data to senior leadership
- Help support and develop an end to end service delivery processes and systems

**_What experience we’re looking for:_**
- Experience from previous roles in guiding and leading a team is preferable (a people person and someone who can support and motivate a team)
- Ability to use systems confidently for job logging and producing monthly reports
- An analytical thinker who can analyse data and turn strategy into operational delivery
- Someone who is passionate about what they do and has the desire to not accept how we’ve always done things
- Someone who has a consistent drive to review and improve processes and identify more efficient ways of working
- Someone who embraces change and implements improvements ensuring buy in from all stakeholders and end users
- Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets will be an integral part of the role, so excel skills are desirable, but not essential
- Experience in managing Purchase Orders
- A confident leader as training colleagues will be a key part of the role
- Broad understanding of finance and finance processes would be beneficial, but not essential
