**Teaching Assistant**
**Location: Plymouth, Devon**
**Salary: £75 to £80 per day**
**Start Date: January/February 2023**
Are you a **Teaching Assistant** looking for a new challenge?
Do you have a passion for supporting young people with additional needs?
If so, then we at GSL Education Plymouth want to hear from you
Prior knowledge or experience of a range of additional needs is desired but not essential. Carers who are willing to work with children are welcome to apply.
As a **Teaching Assistant** or **Learning Support Assistant**, you will be required to:

- Support children with/without special educational needs.
- Provide social, emotional, and academic support on a 1:1 and small group basis when required
- Support the class teacher in the delivery of a creative curriculum, outdoor curriculum, or play-based learning curriculum.
- Assess, record and report on individual student's achievement, progress and development
- Have the right to work in the UK
- Meet GSL’s safer recruitment background checks
- Be committed to safeguarding
- Be adaptable, enthusiastic and enjoy working with young people of all backgrounds
- Have a full, clean UK Driving licence
