Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Yard Worker to join our team. As a Yard Worker, you will be responsible for performing various tasks to ensure the efficient operation of our yard. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

**Duties**:

- Load and unload materials from trucks using forklifts or other equipment
- Sort and organize materials in the yard
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard
- Assist customers with locating and loading materials
- Operate machinery and equipment such as forklifts, skid steers, or tractors
- Perform basic maintenance on machinery and equipment
- Follow safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working in a yard or similar environment is preferred
- Ability to operate machinery and equipment safely
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Basic math skills for inventory management purposes

**Salary**: £11.50-£12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 per week
