Our client is looking to recruit a Bid Writer to join their successful, growing organisation This is a new role to the company

The purpose of the role of Bid Writer is to Identify and win contract/tender opportunities with the private and public sectors, utilising multiple platforms.

**Main tasks of job**
- Bid co-ordination
- Bid preparation - compile information gathered pre-bid for distribution to the bid team; set up response templates and styles which align with the team's branding
- Submission management - develop and manage a schedule of deliverables throughout the bid phase; monitor the bid programme and actively chase outstanding/late actions
- Document control - set up and manage document control procedures; establish and maintain the document management system
- Presentation - formatting and designing bid submission templates and producing graphics and presentation material for submissions
- Bid writing Use existing information and text to create case studies, CVs and draft responses Work with the wider team to write up proposals for technically challenging projects Produce persuasive, concise sales text for marketing purposes
- Proof-read and Copywrite final responses to deliver consistent and joined up submissions

**Experience required**
- Have a minimum of 2 year's Bid Writing experience in both Public and Private Sectors.
- Have, or are working to obtain, Accreditation to the Association of Proposal Management Professionals at Foundation Level.
- Demonstrate ability to drive self and others to deliver within tight time constraints.
- Support the identification and development of the overall tender strategy as part of the wider Bid Team.
- Have demonstrable experience writing original and compelling bid content reflecting the client's stated or implied needs and the agreed tender strategy.
- Possesses a good understanding of the Public Procurement Regulations and how these impact the Client and the Contractor.
- Be commercially aware with excellent working knowledge of standard form contracts and associated contractor risks.
- Familiar with different Contract types, including Framework Agreements and Dynamic Purchasing Systems.
- Licences, registrations and qualifications

**Person Specification**
- Problem solving - You will be expected to go above and beyond to identify root causes, evaluate optimal solutions and make proposals for changes to prevent future.
- Experience of working within a contracts/tendering role (Ideally within a fire safety environment).
- Experience in a similar sales support role.
- Attention to detail.
- Using Microsoft Excel on an expert level and managing large volumes of data.
- Able to work to deadlines.
- Ability to prioritise daily workloads and multiple changing projects.
- Strong communication and writing/bid text authorising skills.
- Manage both your own & other people’s priorities to ensure everything runs to time

**Salary & Benefits**

Salary £35,000- £50,000 plus performance related bonus per annum

Working Hours - 8.30am - 5pm Monday to Friday
28 days annual leave plus bank holidays
