**Transport Planner**

Barton-under-Needwood, Staffordshire

We have an exciting new opportunity for a **Transport Planner **to join our Readymix concrete team, working based out of our offices in Barton-under-Needwood, just outside Burton-Upon-Trent. By joining our team, you will play a role in our ambitious quest to establish ourselves as the foremost provider of cutting-edge low carbon sustainable building solutions in the UK market.

Keys aspects of the role include:

- You’ll receive and process orders via the phone and through online systems
- You’ll plan local deliveries, considering next jobs to be as economic as possible
- We hope everything goes smoothly, but sometimes you’ll need to advise clients that orders will be delayed and manage that relationship.
- By keeping in contact with production and logistics teams you’ll monitor the progress of the order and be able to advise clients on any updates.

Who you are
- You take pride in your attention to detail, never missing data when inputting quotations.
- You’ll be naturally inquisitive and confident speaking with clients.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships and effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders through various communication channels
- Able to work collaboratively with the close knit team
- Self motivated
