Purpose of the job:

- To take full responsibility of the food operation within the Food Court at Queen’s, working in partnership with the retail teams on site.
- To deliver innovative food solutions appropriate for healthcare, enhancing Sodexo’s food credibility through effective engagement with BHRUT communities and client stakeholders and key leadership.
- Drive profitability for both Sodexo and the client through excellence in execution and food advancement, offering expertise in development and design solutions within restaurant and event, when required manage all food projects in collaboration with theclient and Sodexo stakeholders.

What you will bring
- Recognised for skills within food industry, having experience of driving forward a multi-site food operation
- Practiced and proficient chef, with a wealth of experience within the food industry, able to demonstrate developing food cultures across a wide and mix skilled workforce
- Previous experience of providing similar contract catering service as part of a multi-skilled workforce within a similar organisation
- Relevant training, qualifications, and experience to deliver best logistics practice in line with legislative and statutory requirements (where relevant) and industry best practice, Food Level 3/ 4 or equivalent qualifications
- Member of chef of chefs or equivalent governing body, proven mentoring track record within food industry
- Good understanding and experience of ensuring focus is on individual customer requirements and care whilst meeting required service levels.
- Ability to set up and write new processes and procedures
- Strong leadership, evidencing success coaching and employee engagement
- Flexibility that is focused to delivering exceptional customer service
- Can-do attitude
- Attention to detail
- Good listening, prioritisation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to deal with complaints in a calm, structured and professional manner to a successful resolution for the client
