As one of the UK’s largest food businesses we play a critical role in keeping the nation fed. We are looking for motivated Hygiene Operatives to join out expanding operations team at our site in **Caistor**.

This is an exciting time to join an already established site as we continue growing by installing new lines and producing new products, which has created new opportunities across different shifts.

**Purpose of the role**

As an integral member of the Hygiene team you will ensure cleanliness, hygiene, quality and safety standards are exceeded for Avara Foods. Enabling the production lines to run smoothly.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Achieving agreed quality standards relating to cleaning instruction cards (CIC’s)
- Cleaning all factory equipment and machinery to deadlines, ready for production to start.
- The use of chemical cleaning agents including mixing correct quantities.
- Manual handling, lifting equipment and products up to 20kg.
- Adhering to health and safety rules at all times. **What we are looking for**:

- Good level of English and basic numeracy skills
- The ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively
- Good attention to detail and a flexible attitude to tasks
- Experience within a hygiene or cleaning team.

**Working Hours**:
There are 2 shifts available:
**Shift 1**:Monday - Friday 09:00 - 18:00

**Shift 2**:Tuesday - Saturday 09:00 - 18:00
