Trelleborg Sealing Solutions is looking for a quality operative to ensure that production standards are met and maintained for a given product before it is dispatched to the customer. The role will mainly involve compiling certificates for our customers but also involve undertaking quality lab responsibilities.

**About the Job**:
The role involves rotating weekly job responsibilities for certification and compiling certifications for customers; some examples of certificates are Fairs, PPAPs, Material, dimensional, and certificates of conformities.

Quality lab activities include running a CMM, annual calibration, material testing, and supporting production with quality activities and visual inspection.

Other tasks and responsibilities for the role include:

- Compiling customer certification
- Follow written and verbal instructions, processes and procedures.
- Work safely, following all Health and Safety requirements and accurate procedures.
- Locate and work to Standard Operating Procedure (SOP’s)
- Complete the visual inspection of products to an agreed SOP or a customer-specific requirement.
- Inspection completed under magnification using a digital camera.

To fulfil this role, you should demonstrate phenomenal attention to detail and the ability to follow clear and precise instructions, you should also have a basic understanding of computers, and training will be provided on using specific software.
- A manufacturing and inspection background is desired.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Able to follow clear and detailed instructions and procedures
- Self-motivated
- Resourceful
- Attention to detail
- Able to develop good working relationships with other departments
- Desirable to have good Excel knowledge
