We have an exciting opportunity for a Shot blaster to join our team our Glenrothes facility, learning new skills and experiences whilst enhancing those already attained. The role demands accuracy, diligence, resilience and would suit a self-motivated individual.

A market competitive salary will be offered depending on experience. Benefits of employment include 33 days holiday per year on a pro-rata basis (including public holidays), an employer pension contribution of 5% of salary and life assurance.

**Outline of Role and Responsibilities**

Duties will include, but not be limited to, the use of industrial shot blast equipment in the preparation of fabricated steel components for welding and material handling.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**
- Adhere to H&S guidelines and policy when operating shot blast equipment.
- Keep work areas clear and organized.
- Notify supervisors of any and all repairs.
- Observe operation of equipment to ensure continuity of flow, safety, efficient operation and to detect malfunctions.
- Clean, adjust and maintain equipment.
- Read work orders to determine production specifications and information.
- Reject defective products and readjust, where necessary, equipment to eliminate problems.
- Examine materials, ingredients, or products, in order to ensure conformance to required standards.
- Transfer materials, supplies, and products between work areas, using company approved lifting systems.
- Record data from operations, testing, and production on specified forms.
- Maintain and mark bins as to types of mixtures stored.
- In addition to your normal duties, ensure all product is correct to specification and work is carried out in an efficient and effective manner as per company procedures.
- Ensure maximum productivity & full compliance with Health & Safety procedures.
- Be proactive and identify production related issues.
