Streamline Search is currently working with a small-medium sized Freight Forwarding company, which specialise in time-critical transport across Europe. Due to one of their large US customers steadily increasing volume they are seeking an enthuastic and self-motivated Import / Export Coordinator to join a small, friendly, and dynamic team.

As the Import / Export Coordinator you will be a vital member of our clients small, dedicated, and flexible operations team, while benefiting from a meaningful position within an employee-owned business.

**Import / Export Coordinator - Position Overview**
- Liaise and negotiate with transport partners to find real time transport options at optimal market prices.
- Arrange transport for freight collection and onward delivery, ensuring that appropriate and effective vehicles are used. Building lasting professional relationships with transport providers to ensure mutual benefits.
- Being an active team member in a fast-moving environment, providing excellent Customer Service and building relationships with new and existing Customers.
- Securing repeat business by seeking and responding to customer feedback and making NDF their first choice for time critical transport.
- Monitoring the movement of consignments ensuring collection and delivery on time, checking corresponding paperwork and adhering to all necessary regulations.
- Proactively building business relationships with new and existing Customers to enhance NDF’s reputation for quality service. An essential part of your role will be the fast and accurate computer input of shipment details. Attention to detail in all aspects of administration is paramount.

**Import / Export Coordinator - Position Requirements**
- A background within Freight Forwarding would be beneficial but is not a necessity.
- Knowledge of Air Freight operations would also beneficial
- Excellent IT skills to include Microsoft packages.
- Excellent telephone manner and customer service skills are essential.
- Ability to handle pressure and good time management.
- Highly enthusiastic and self-motivated

**Import / Export Coordinator - Position Remuneration**
- Starting salary of £24,000
- Twice-yearly sales-related bonus, plus yearly Employee Ownership profit-related bonus.
- 31 days holiday p.a. including bank holidays.
