Provide Community Therapy is a rehabilitation service supporting the needs of the Mid Essex Community. The service comprises of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Therapy assistants.We have bases at St Peters Hospital Maldon and Braintree Hospital. - To contribute to the assessment and treatment of patients both individually and in groups in patients own home, other community settings and community wards.
- To support the Therapists to deliver treatment plans with patients who may have acute, chronic, or multiple pathologies, with the aim to reduce the impact of disability and ill-health.
- To assist the Therapists in promoting a patient’s return to independence in their home environment
- To assist in the provision of equipment to patients.
- The role requires lone working and the post holder to travel independently by car around the designated locality.
- To undertake some administrative functions including ordering supplies, managing stock levels, and registering new referrals.
