We are looking for an experienced 'Goods Inwards & Returns Supervisor' to join our award winning team at the British Ironwork Centre in Oswestry, Shropshire.

Duties include but not limited to:

- Responsible for all incoming goods/deliveries, ensuring goods are checked thoroughly and handled with care
- Ensuring goods are made available for dispatch in line with customer expectations
- Ensuring incoming consignments are processed in a timely manner.
- Loading and unloading deliveries efficiently & safetly
- Ensuring driver paper work is checked throughly and signed appropriately
- Ensuring any discrepancies are raised and investigated/queried immediately
- Ensuring stock is safely stored and booked in accurately and in a timely manner
- To have an understanding of customer service, be passionate and take ownership of the role
- Assisting the warehouse manager and other supervisors in the maintenance and safe running of the warehouse
- General warehouse stock logistics movements to maximise internal efficiencies
- Developing goods inwards and returns processes
- General warehouse health and safety ensuring all areas of the warehouse are kept clean, tidy and safe at all times.
- Encouraging cross company collaboration between departments
- Stocktaking & maintenance of accurate inventory records
- Management of holiday and absence
- Assist with other areas of the business when required - working offsite when required
- General warehouse duties
