Logistics Planner

An opportunity has arisen to join the Logistics /Tooling team as a Logistics Planner based at BAE Systems, Samlesbury. The team deals with the management of the following activities across a wide range of departments from a Typhoon Tooling perspective, includingbut not limited to:

- EAMS (Asset MAnagement) Updating and Reporting
- WSTGE (Workshop Test & Ground Equipment) Preparation and Export
- Calibration and calibration House management to SLA
- Tooling Control support and tooling Issuing
- ATS (Advanced Tracking System) management and Tooling movements
- Maintain accurate and Topical EAM tooling Software
- Provide support for all aspects of Tool control in Cat 1 and Cat 2 areas
- Manage calibration activities and stakeholder management of Suppliers
- Working alongside Tooling Team to improve and maintain data integrity for all tooling and Customer needs and in line with processes
The role holder will have exceptional communication, stakeholder management and organisational skills. Specifically, an understanding of Tooling and Hand Tool awareness in addition to Planning & Logistics discipline as this would become the main focus of thisrole.
