What does this corker of a job entail?
- Carry out detailed Accident Investigations
- Ensures that all compulsory H & S training requirements are met and the correct PPE is worn
- Responsible for delivery of Production plan for area
- Ensure quality of finished products are in line with the FFS target
- Produce and deliver OEE improvement
- Ensure all finished product packaging standards are made clear to team and adhered to
- Ensure in house quality standards/targets are achieved
- Liaises with Technical functions to ensure customer requirements are fully defined and understood
- Assist in staff’s Appraisals/performance management of team members in section
- Identify people in teams for succession planning
- To assist in recruiting and selecting team members for the operation when required.
- Undertake disciplinary action according to the disciplinary procedure informally and formally to verbal warning
- Meet with production groups to discuss area performance and business opportunities
- Meet with Technical Departments to discuss manufacture of new or potential products
- Discussions with other functions to resolve quality issues or supply problems with finished goods/raw material
- Meet range of people up to the highest Senior Levels
- To assist the Production Manager in the absence of the Shift Manager

Key Ingredients
- Formal relevant Qualification to ILM level 3
- IOSH Managing Safely Qualification
- 2 - 3 Years Experience of people Management
- Understood food/drink manufacturing operations
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office
- Haccp trained
- SAP experience
